Jalsa, Junoon Restaurant

I am not a critic but good food and different atmosphere is something that I should appreciate without fail.
This weekend we tried out this new Mughal cuisine restaurant in Outer Ring road near Marathahalli. I was impressed by the ambience, good service and good food. Food was served in this “Durbar” in a Mughal style and reasonable Mughal period settings while pre-1980 Bollywood music played in the background. A big screen played music videos from the same period, setting the ambience to perfection. Overall it was “An entertaining fancy-dress and good food if you can spend around 500 Rs. per person” For more serious reads you can see here or here.

Food and happiness

Deleting some old mails ran into this again ... As food is one of my major love this one deserves a special mention here.

When Time Matters

With my mobile camera I am trying out more. It is said beauty lies in eye of the beholder. And while capturing beauty on camera "the time too matters". It matters more when you are using a less hi-tech camera like one on mobile phones.

In the evening just before sunset.

When it got darker

At noon

Reading more on lighting, many experts believe that the better time for nature photography is evening just before sunset and morning just after dawn. These are the times when you get the best of the colours, more of it and in greater variety.

Ofcourse I find it difficult to get up just after dawn so generally prefer just before sunset time. Things get better if it has just rained. Things look fresher and water droplets give a richer colour effects and contrasts.
